And wouldn't life be great if work and trips didn't get in the way ...

But at least today, 8 Mar, I did manage the route below - shame I didn't check the weather too well as it wasn't the best for a training run ...

  • 75% Humidity
  • Broken Cumulo Nimbus at 1300 ft
  • Rain Showers
  • Westerly Wind at 17 gusting 24+ MPH

So of course it rained and blew a 'hooly' from Martin Dales all the way home :(

One wet, tired , V cold BB on a not so BBRide and a shameful 3 1/2 Hours ... (About 15 KPH - but in this wind where I averaged about 8 KPH for an hour - maybe not so bad)

 

And next time I am doing Anti-clockwise as the Water Rail is much nicer than the Lincolnshire Roads - And I could learn to hate Timberland Fen ...

Next time I'll try to get some pictures of the red bulls, giant trout, red sheep  and other 'bits 'n pieces' on the 'nice bit' too.
