On Fri 18 Sep 2009 (or thereabouts) I start a 1011km bike ride from Bordeaux along the Voie Litorale and then the Camino Frances to Santiago de Compostella. 

I have 3 (OK 4)  reasons for doing this:

• A personal pilgrimage

• To raise funds for the Peace Hospice in Watford

• To raise funds for the local St Barnabas Hospice Lincolnshire

• To raise funds for the RAFBF

This site is a record of the why, the planning, the fundraising, the training, and, eventually, the doing! 

 And as I'm a Big Bloke, doing a Big Bike Ride - this is my 'Big Blokes Big Bike Ride' - Hence BBBBR
